Success!

I have a few things to post about today...a little of this and that.

First off the mailman came today to bring me something from Carmel, all the way from Washington. Thank you sooo much!
This is the key-ring she had made for me. I love it :) It's already hanging next to my house key.

Also in the package was this cute little magnet....

And this sticker which I find hilarious. (sorry for the vulgarity, but I love it!)

This evening while I prepared some things in the kitchen, My dog Grizzly decided that he was the boss of my youngest son Chandler. You can tell Chandler is not happy about this..haha

I also thought I would do something for the very first time.
I wanted to can. I wanted to make Strawberry preserves, BUT strawberries are rediculously priced at this time of year, so that will wait a little bit.

But I did do some canning. I made homemade Apple Butter. And while the apple butter cooked down for about 2 hours before the actual canning process, I knit on my last cardigan sleeve at the kitchen table.

I did it, and very proud of my first canning success.
