I got a new tattoo today!

Because...well...if you know anything about me, you would know why I chose the swedish and the american flag together....However, the american flag is unfinished and I get that done and my touch-ups next week, so..I LOVE IT!

I got kissed today....

By an alpaca!! My god they were soft and cute and this one liked me enough to kiss me..lol

Can you see Toby the baby? he's only 3 days old. All the alpacas were just shaved about 3 weeks ago so they don't have much hair. They are curious animals...almost like dogs or cats. I just thought they were the cutest things ever.

My boss owns this farm. It's a little something him and his wife do on the side. I on the other hand take the fleece and clean it, spin it and make yarn to knit with! However...this is the first time i've ever been around the actual animal. I think i'm alergic. My eyes burned and watered like i was crying buckets. But yet when I have just the dirty fleece I get nothing, no reaction. Odd.

Well....

The spinning yesterday didn't last too long...I was exhausted so I knit for about 5 minutes and went to sleep....6.30 at night! However this is the progress made so far on my sweater that I cannot wait to wear! I'm at the half way mark.

I don't know what to do with myself!

Should I spin? seeing as I have not touched my wheel since...*cough* January..eeks!

But on the norm I don't usually do any type of knitting etc in the summer months, however. I am bored. I also really want to wear my sweater this fall...it's no biggie. I can do it. It's just I don't get much time to knit so I am lucky if I get 1/2" on it a day!...The scarf is well, for Donna and it's a fast knit, but again....when do I have time.

This weekend would be one time but..I think I'll spin..yup..thats it..sigh*

It's about time..

Yanno I've been itching and scratching about what to do here but my time has been full up and time to write is about null, but I think I might give it a go again...but change it up a bit because lets face it...my life isn't all that exciting.

If I'm not knitting something..then I'm working, or taking care of my dying mother, or...well I have a made a trip to Sweden 5 weeks ago and Norway but...other than that it's not that much fun...well....actually I have made it to O.C. Maryland actually this year. And if you don't know what that is, you might want to look it up because it's the best beach to go to near me, and the most fun!

Basically I want to try to keep things about my knitting because at this time it's what interests me the most, and some things about the normal goings on in my life...not very exciting is it?
