Changes

I always have a hard time coming up with something nice for my blog. I'm hoping the changes I made today are more clean then what it was before. It just felt unorganized so now a fresh start should look and feel better.

I've been working on another pattern again. This time I am going to pay more attention to detail. I've really taken my time and thought this through. I have also been working on swatches and design and of course the name. I always wanted to design but there always seemed to be so much involved, or it just seemed like too much work.

Heather makes it look easy, so I tried to take on a different approach and go about it the way she does, and it really does make a difference. I have cut my time in half by going about it with her suggestions. She really knows what she's talking about. You should pop on over to her site and have a look at the wonderful things she's been knitting! Heather has inspired me to want to design more.

The one I am currently working on now is a scarf. I thought I would get a head start on an item for the fall season. The great thing about scarves is that it isn't really that 'hot' to work with in the summer months. I figure I'll tinker with it a bit over the next few weeks and see what I come up with. I have everything all mapped out and ready to be knit! I'm just hoping and praying that there are few to little mistakes on the first go...so far it looks good.

To top my morning off...I received pictures of little Harry in London wearing the cardigan I knit for him, and the Oatmeal baby hat I designed. I was very pleased when I seen these and so happy to see the cute little guy that I'm going to finally meet this summer.
His grandmother knit the blanket he is on. I'm not sure of the pattern, I will have to ask, but it is gorgeous!
