Tisdag

When it's the beginning of the week I usually have a lot to do at work.
I have no time to knit what-so-ever.

However I found out, or I should say I re-checked, what I thought my deadline really was for Knit Picks magazine...Ooopsss..It's a bit sooner than I had thought. So today, regardless of how busy I was at work, I knitted and knitted and knitted as fast as I could.

Customers chatted away in my ear on the phone, and I had my needles going like lightning fast in my hands.

I typed with one hand and held my knitting in the other.

My co-workers stopped by my desk checking to see if I was done yet.....

And what do I have to show for it?

A finished pair of mittens that are currently blocking, while I sit and pray for them to be dry tomorrow. And when they are dry, those puppies are going 2 day air to Washington!

When I took this I was just about done...I can't show you the colors as they haven't been released to the public yet, but the mitten itself can be seen as it's a pair I already have on Ravelry, so I shaded it out with multiple colors.
(Can you tell I was reading my Interweave Knits magazine too?)

My desk normally looks like this. Knitting scattered all over the right side of my desk, and work papers all over the left side in front of my computer. I don't know what I'd do if my boss ever told me to put my knitting away, permanently.

I feel lucky.

Happy Knitting!
