Bathtime

I gave Tyson a bath and a haircut today. He was quite the stinky dog.
He always lays on the couch after he has run around trying to dry himself, rubbing on every surface possible. I think he gets worn out doing that.

I always take my afghan and cover him with it coz he looks cold, and usually he is. This time him and his stuffed squirrel friend (kompis) are snuggled together under the afghan having a nap!

I was on my way to work this morning and felt like snapping a few shots.

This is Hagakyrkan itself. Its pretty in the snow! I love how the lights on the tower show through the remaining darkness of the morning.


This is Skansen Kronan up on the hill. It was built to scare off the Danes way back when, before the 1800's??. It has a nice crown made of gold sitting on top of it. Shines nice in the sun. Now it doesn't look from this pic that it's sitting up high on that hill, but that hill is pretty damn steep! I walked up that hill once...whew! The view from the top is magnificent! You can see almost the whole city.

Look what happened today...

I took this from the front window of the restaurant I work in.
It's snowing!!

Its laid on the ground pretty good now.
From what i understand it should keep snowing all night and have snow storms for the next few days.

Well I have worked a long hard week right through easter. I am BEAT!
I finished off the bottle of wine and I just wanted to make a quick post before I go to bed, or fall over.
Whichever comes first is fine with me.

I have been trying to finish up knitting projects that I have started.
So far I am down to three.
Tomorrow I get to mail a special item I knitted, to Canada.
Had to wait for payday, and seeing as we only get paid once a month here..it was a long 1 1/2 - 2 week wait..lol

I found a few things that I dare to try and make, two of them cardigans which I am excited about because I want to venture where I never have before in knitting. So far I can make all winter wear (scarves, hats, mittens, gloves etc...) and socks and blankets and I have learned to be my own designer which is exciting too.

Enough of my blabber..it's time for bed!

I'm back

Yeah so I have decided to blog again today. The first time in a few hundred years.
Been busy lately working and working and...well, working!
I am just about finished with a baby blanket for Michelle. I hope she likes it. I just have a few tiny little details to put on it to give it that 'touch' I took it off of my sidebar because I didn't want to have the final pic to be there....It's to be saved for when it arrives in Canada.

Not much going on really. The weather looks nice out there but yet I haven't stuck my nose out the door so it could be cold for all I know. I need to get my butt in gear and get dressed. Thinking about taking a walk with the dog seeing as it looks like it might not actually rain for once.

I can tell it is spring because all the little wild flowers that grow have peeked out of the ground and also because the buds have stuck ther faces out of all the little trees and bushes.
Personally I think it all happened a bit too soon. Especially for this altitude on the map of the world. Sweden....it's February (it was) and the buds are peeking out..That's pretty messed up if you ask me! Have a great weekend...

You can always tell when Tyson starts eating pinecones.
There is 2 pinecones, a piece of a stick and some moss in his little mouth...
Yes 2 pinecones, sometimes he fits 4 in there!!!
