Another word for 'Stingy'

I had school today.
whopti do da
Actually, I like my teachers and the class I am in.
I have made a few friends already.
This one girl is from Baghdad, Iraq. Her name is Shaeima and she's really nice. She's kinda small and makes me think of a little girl, she's very quiet too.

Then we have..uhmm..oi, what's his name? starts with an A and no it's not Ali....anyways he is from Iran and he's a very nice guy. I also learned that there are homework assignments that we get to choose what order we get to do them in! and when! But we must complete the list of homework and all the tests before we can pass the class. The last day of school is December 21st......however there will also be other assignments which the teachers will give out that we MUST do when they say it has to be done. Today was the first day and I went to the bokhyllan and grabbed a pärm with homework and took #1, brought it home and did it. Paul corrected it for me, just a few mistakes.

So...I fly back to the USA on Saturday early morning...I think we figured it was 12 hours to get there and 14 hours to come back here. So I will get a week at home to visit with my family, but I think the time will fly so fast that it will seem like it's not enough. The day after I come back here, I have school.......jet lag is going to stink! I haven't even started packing yet or doing all my laundry. I'll get to it...I guess I should start tomorrow or Wednesday..ugh!

Anyways, I was looking up synonyms.....and the word I searched for was 'generous'...it gives you all sorts of things...but I will let you look for yourself on this one because I can't believe what I seen. When you click on the link you will see other words under 'stingy' and they have arrows next to them, look at the 5th arrow down and tell me what you see in that row of words.

Something Awful...

I freaking laughed my ass off at this website....Most importantly a particular article that is, yes..3 pages long, but only takes a few minutes to read. It is all true, everything that is written on it. I have to say this guy is funny, the king of smartasses all over the world & the best nut-cracking, pot smoking monkey I ever read! Next to Old K that is....

So on with it..here's the link to the crazy article I read...
Crazy Doll Lady

And this here article sickens me....Hidden U.S. Plans for War on Iran

SOooo...

Nothing.
I have a blank mind.
What the heck?

I have school tomorrow. That sounds like fun doesn't it?
No.

I'm thinking of getting a new tatoo to cover the one I had on my ankle for the past uhm...16 years? I gave it to myself when I was 15..It was SUPPOSED to be a star, however it turned out to be the star of david, and even though I have nothing against the Jews...I am NOT jewish. So I think I will have it covered with a blazing sun....just as tiny as the star thats there now. I just have to find a picture that they can use as a reference, but I already have the idea of what it should look like in my head, only I can't draw.....

Nah...forget that.. I think I want this instead...

Vad kan jag göra????

So my dog was sleeping yesterday on the couch, and I wanted to see how close I could get to his cute little face without waking him up. Look!
How freaking cute is he????
Then he woke up and I bugged the hell out of him i'm sure.
What the hell you lookin' at??
What are you doin' down there?
I'm not awake yet!
What the hell! Will you stop?
I am sure he thought of all those things. His face says it all, but then again maybe only Paul and I see the faces he makes. Today I had to go visit my boss at work to discuss some papers...on the way home I stopped at a place called 'The English Shop' which primarily has all those things that people from the UK use and miss while living far from home. Also they have American products, and I seen some things that I have not seen in a good long time, almost a year to be exact. I have only been living in Sweden for 8 months and 6 days.
It's funny how much more expensive something can be just because it's imported, with the exception of the Cherry Coke I bought for Paul, it was pretty cheap actually. But I seen they had Jiffy corn muffin mix for $5 !!!!!! I pay maybe $1 at home for it..lol..freaking crazy! So anywho, I headed for the nearest tram stop, and could see water that comes from the sea, just a peek of it, and felt like I wanted to go there. And so I did.
I knew there was a place where I could really get there to it so I got on the tram, got off at the mall, walked all the way through to the other side, went up the escalater and through the tubed bridge that goes over the highway and down the other side to the water. It's so peaceful there. I didn't stay because I needed to make another stop before home. The water was choppy and the wind was a little nippy, but it was nice. I should of sat down on one of the benches that are against the waters edge, but I didn't.
This big sail ship in the background is actually a floating hotel called The Viking, or it says Viking on the front of it when I walked closer to it.
You can click on the pictures to make them bigger if you like.
I turned and faced to my right and seen this.....

I seen these ships sitting in the port too just a little further down.
Then I turned around and went back, went to my other stop, then home. I'd say it was a pretty good day.
Oh and..I go home to the USA in 2 weeks!! woohoo! Just for 1 week, but still! I miss my family.

uhm..

I don't know what to write about.
Let's see. It got insanely hot out this morning and Paul and I tried to play Badminton but it felt like I had no 'get up and go' with the sun and humidity beating on us.
I did some laundry and hung my clothes outside to dry....
I started to make supper, forgot the damn red and green peppers though at the store earlier that I needed!

I sat out in the sun for a little bit.....
Had supper with my in-laws and Paul and laughed at my father-in-law for the silly things he was saying like..."We can put Tyson(our dog) in the oven and cook him but we must stuff his stomach full of ground beef because he has no meat on him and feed him to Carolina(Pauls sister), but I must cut off his head so she doesn't know it is him".....

Oh my god!..I laughed so hard but thats rough!...And not right either..but was funny as shit at the same time...

Also while we sat at the supper table his mom was talking about people, colored people of african descent, and being called the 'N' word....I don't think I laughed so hard in a long time. Now I don't think it's right to call people by that name, but it's just the way she says it is so funny because she was talking about an incident at work with a half african, half swedish girl. There was a customer at the cafe who wanted to buy a kokosbåll....chocolate ball in otherwords....but they used to be called negerbållar...and well, I think it's obvious what that is....The customer asked for the negerbåll to the girl, then realized what he said, applogized, and then asked for the kokosbåll---apparently the next day the same guy came back and asked for a kokosbåll, to my mother in law this time....and she said to him, being a smart ass...don't you mean negerbåll?...hehe..well the guy laughed so..thats all that matters right?

Anyways during dinner we had my favourite..red Lambrusco wine....I am finding that since moving to Sweden I can drink wine like it is soda or water, which is not good, but it is more popular here to have something with your dinner, or for whatever reasons, then it is back home in the USA. I drank it too fast and when I walked to the computer a little bit ago Paul told me I was walking funny, thats because my legs felt weird, and I noticed I had to keep correcting my spelling here because I became a little slurred in my typing..it was worse then usual. I don't even know what I was trying to say. Anyways , most of it has worn off now...so..there!

Yo Homey!

We all have ghetto moments in our lives, this is to be ours.
It happens to be Tuesday.
Hot outside.
We all get a tan sitting in the little private porch we have.

After a good meal I spot Paul trying to roast a marshmellow over the kitchen stove. So I try to stop him, saying we need to do it over a fire. It's better that way because then you can catch them on fire and burn them, and there is nothing better then a burnt marshmellow!
We find the cheap ass one time grill, light it up and start roasting these little suckers..it's not even dark out, we should of listened to Paul and done it when the sun goes down. Which in Sweden it doesn't really happen anyways in summer.

Actually it has started to get dark earlier now for once now that I think about it. Anyways, it's 1000 degrees outside and like idiots we are all dressed like bums, me in black of all colors, and we stand over this mini grill, roasting the marshmellows like we live in the ghetto. Was quite fun!

Got the Munchies???

I had a strange weekend. I had to work Saturday and Sunday which is no big deal. But a few things happened and I will try to keep it short without a huge book written here. First of all Swedes go out like crazy on Friday and Saturday nights. It's not like at home in the USA where you go home at 2 or 3 am..these people are out till maybe 6am.

So I walk to the tram station early (yesterday) Saturday morning and see evidence of the party that went on throughout the whole city. Mind you that the tram station here starts out underground..at least the one near my house does...so when I see where someone has thrown up all over the place it makes me gag, and even worse when I smell it because the smell has nowhere to go because we are underground..blech! and spit..everywhere..and beer bottles...fucking pigs... Oh yeah and not to mention the city looks like the town dump after everyone goes out..litterally there is trash all over the streets!!! It does get cleaned up Sunday mornings. Ends up looking like nothing happened.

Anways...I just try not to move and wait for the tram to come. Saturday (yesterday) morning I get into central and I get off to catch a different tram to work. I hear banging and apparently there is a woman who can't get out of the public toilet..we think she is trapped, locked in.. I learned this morning that she was just drunk and couldn't figure out how to open the damn door from the inside..Jesus! and this was about 545am...

So today at the tram stop this morning underground, there was the one old guy who lives nearby me who tried to help that drunk girl.. I asked if she was OK, but his english was not good. I tried Swedish...it worked...so he walks away from me...we are the only two there..its a little creepy underground alone at 530am...he comes back and holds out his hand and asks if I want a piece of candy.. I said yes thank you..he told me it was chocolate..in English he said this...ok..well wait..its the same in Swedish..so I look at it..pop it in my mouth and look at the packet..its not chocolate..its coffee flavored..yummy! When I see the Arabic writing, I ask him "Var är det från?"(Where is it from?)..he says back to me "Turkiet, men jag är inte från Turkiet, jag är från Iran!"(Turkey, but I am not from Turkey, I am from Iran!)..ok...I never thought he was from Turkey but..OK whatever. The candy is Turkish, I get it....he put his headphones back on,walked to the other end and sung his music out loud so it echoed throughout the tunnel...I just smiled so big. Funny guy.

Anyways, on with it...I get to central this morning...and while I wait there, also are the two African men who also tried to help the girl who was stuck....they of course spoke English and then they tried Swedish on me because they seen me there yesterday, and I gave them 5:- kronor to get the door unlock....that's money by the way if you didn't know...but then when I didn't understand, they realized I wasn't a Swede....so we talk and laugh about the dumb girl...I get on my next tram and the one guy comes along also...he works near me and proceeds to tell me he hates learning Swedish because it is hard and he hates Sweden because nobody smiles or says hi for the heck of it like Africans and Americans do....and all they want to do is dance and drink all weekend.. I laughed when I seen a fucked up little dance from this guy to show me...jeez!

So he tells me that America is real dangerous....ok...so is the rest of the world but this guy was entertaining..apparently EVERYONE has guns in the USA...not true..a lot of people maybe but not everyone..NOT ME! though I don't live in the USA anymore....so...he tells me when we get off at our stop that he works a black mans job..uhh I act stupid...he said us white people get the good jobs...I don't know where he gets that idea from because I work 10 and a half hours WITHOUT a break!!! That's illegal here in Sweden btw..shit...but I deal with it..so...I tell him this.....We part ways..he goes one direction and I go the other..... In fact he works at the grocery store down the street from where I work..I got all kinds of useless info from this guy, like he is from Cameroon in Africa and that its next to Nigeria and that they play football against each other....

I go to work..its an easy Sunday like no other, or so I think! Kalle says something about a strange customer order and he will take over cooking for me..OK!! but I didn't get it till he physically pointed out that this guy..the guy who was sitting at the table next to where I was cooking with his two buddies, ordered 20!!!!!!!!!! I said 20 extra bacon..what?? ok so one bacon is five slices..you do the math..that's 100 pieces of bacon there...this was after he already ate 4 pancakes..American pancakes mind you..they are fluffy and thick, not like crepes.....I said what??

So because of this guy, everyone else in the place had to wait 45 minutes to get their food because his damn bacon had to be cooked and it took forever!! The cold bacon cools down the grill plate we cook on...I thought it was funny and I just laughed the whole time..and I asked they guy if he could really eat all that...2 plates stacked very high!! and he said 'Watch me!' and so I did here and there just laughing.. I asked his friend if he wanted me to call an ambulance. I thought for sure he'd have a heart attack or puke his guts out..but there he sat eating all of that bacon like crazy..this guy was about 6 foot tall and skinny..maybe 24 years old...he looked sober and everything.....I also asked him if he wanted something More to drink coz all he had was that empty coffee cup....he said no, he was just fine. Can you say 'PUKE?'

It took him only maybe 8 to 10 minutes to eat all of that..he shovelled all of it in! THEN!..oh shit I was dying laughing..then...he ordered 4 more pancakes with chocolate this time!!..eww...then I turned to Kalle and said.. "Do you think he's got the munchies?"..hehe...We cracked up over that...It's probably true though, who really eats like that? Sweden doesn't have food eating contests..so...it's not that!

So eventually we caught up with all the orders and everyone in the place got fed...the bacon-boy walked out the door without exploding and we shut the place down for the day.... I walked on my way towards Hagakyrkan.....I seen my teacher, who was riding a bike, I had him for Swedish classes before summer.....we talked and then I started on again towards the tram stop ... I get to Brunnsparken and I see Kemel who was in my class also, walking down the street with his friend.....I wave to him, he waves back......next stop Centralstationen....Nima gets on and says hi..also from my class...we spoke and I told him that I seen my friend Eliana since she came back from Jordan and how big her tummy is getting from pregnancy, he tells me he hates her..well she hates him too, he just doesn't know it......

He stays on the tram one extra stop so we can talk more, then has to go backwards one stop to get home...anyways..it was just an eventful strange weekend! I have Monday and Tuesday off and its going to be nice out..waaaaaa fucking hoo!

La Tortura

I happen to like Shakira, so what? I think the video of la Tortura is cool, but also a little embarrasing to watch certain parts of it. She can dance really well, but a lot of that is due to whoever her choreographer is too..Poor girl, It's a wonder her hips haven't fallen off of her yet! I also think she has changed a lot since she first came out. I also think it was a good pairing with her and Alejandro Sanz, especially seeing as thats not his normal type of music to sing, or hers for that matter. I think they were awesome and I just LOVE both of their voices! Anyways if you want to watch the video just watch it here

If your a big pu$$y and a little afraid of watching her moves, you can watch the baby version here

By the way, the song is in spanish but it doesn't take away the fact it's good. It's about him and her being ex's and apparently he screwed up, he calls her his love and wants her back but she says she is not a fool. That's pretty much it.
